Privacy policy

The owner of the sylvio.pl website respects the privacy of its users and undertakes to protect their personal data in accordance with applicable law. This document explains how I collect, process and use the personal data of people who use the site.

Legal basis for processing

Personal data of sylvio.pl users is processed in accordance with:

  • Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 (GDPR),
  • the Polish Act of 10 May 2018 on the Protection of Personal Data,
  • other national provisions and applicable legal acts.

Data controller

The controller of personal data is the owner of sylvio.pl: Sylwester Konrad Wronka. Any questions about data processing can be sent to: kontakt@sylvio.pl.

Scope of data collected

The following data may be processed on sylvio.pl:

  1. Contact form: name, e-mail address and message content.
  2. IP address: for technical and security purposes. It is included in the e-mail notification I receive together with the message and is used only to protect the form against abuse.

Providing personal data is voluntary, but without it I cannot reply to your message.

Purposes of processing

  1. Contacting you and replying to your message: based on the consent given by submitting the contact form (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).
  2. Keeping the site secure and protecting the form against abuse: based on the controller's legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
  3. Fulfilling obligations arising from applicable law.

Cookies and browser storage

The site uses one technical cookie (sylvio_lang) that remembers the chosen language for 12 months. The chosen theme (light or dark) is remembered in the browser's storage (localStorage) and is not sent to the server. When you submit the form with JavaScript disabled and a field contains an error, a technical PHP session cookie is used for a single page reload to show you the data you typed. The site does not use advertising or analytics cookies.

Fonts and images are served from the sylvio.pl server. The animation libraries (GSAP and Lenis) are loaded from the content delivery networks cdnjs.cloudflare.com and cdn.jsdelivr.net, which receive the browser's IP address while the files are being downloaded. Without these libraries the site works fully, just without animations.

Data retention

Personal data is kept for:

  • the duration of the correspondence or the validity of consent,
  • until a request for its deletion is made,
  • the period required by law (for example for tax or accounting purposes), where such provisions apply.

Your rights

Every person whose data is processed has the right to:

  1. access their data (Art. 15 GDPR),
  2. rectify data (Art. 16 GDPR),
  3. erase data, the "right to be forgotten" (Art. 17 GDPR),
  4. restrict processing (Art. 18 GDPR),
  5. data portability (Art. 20 GDPR),
  6. object to processing (Art. 21 GDPR),
  7. withdraw consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before its withdrawal,
  8. lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority, which in Poland is the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (PUODO).

Sharing data

Personal data may be passed to third parties only when necessary for the site to work and to handle correspondence, for example to the hosting and e-mail provider (LH.pl).

Security

I apply appropriate technical and organisational measures, including an encrypted HTTPS connection, an anti-bot field and server-side validation, to protect personal data against unauthorised access, loss, destruction or modification.
